The Beacon Press provides access to a wide range of general and computer stationery, office products and office furniture using a number of services.


You can call in at THE BEACON PRESS SHOP situated at 3/5 Cloister Ramp, Gibraltar. The Shop is centrally based close to the Piazza round the corner from the Central Police Station in Irish Town (map).

Or place orders using the CUSTOMER ORDER SERVICE. Orders can be collected, from the Shop (map) or the Warehouse (map) during opening hours or they can be delivered on condition that the value of the order exceeds £10.00. Delivery will only be attempted once and no goods will be left, under any circumstances, unless payment has been received in full. If delivery is unsuccessful the goods will be left at the Shop for collection.


You may place orders using the CUSTOMER ORDER SERVICE. These orders will be invoiced and will be delivered, free of charge next day, to the delivery address held in our records unless we are otherwise instructed. To qualify for a delivery the value of your order must exceed £10.00.

Alternately, if it is more convenient for you, you can call in at the BEACON PRESS SHOP (map), make your purchase there and it will be invoiced to your account, so long as the value of your purchase exceeds £2.00.

As an account customer, you will receive a copy of each of our Catalogues free of charge as they are published and regular mailings through the post or via e-mail, if you are a member of our e-mail news group. If you would like to join the e-mail news group please and complete the online registration form. Mailings will keep you up to date on pricing, special offers and product information.

The Company employs a Customer Services Representative, whose main task is to ensure that, as an account customer, you are aware of the services and policies that we operate; are up to date with prices, special offers and other product information and is able to answer any queries that you may have. We are always very interested in improving our services to you and the range of products we stock locally. Any feedback that you can give us regarding products and services is most welcome. Do not forget that as account customers you can take advantage of the 5% early payment discount, which can be deducted when you make your payment, on condition that terms and conditions are met, i.e. that payment is received by the end of the calendar month following the date the invoice was issued on.



The Company stocks a wide range of products locally. In addition we, also, offer a ‘mail order’ service based, mainly, on this UK based catalogue.

This means that any items or products not stocked locally can be sourced through this catalogue from the UK, as a ‘special order’. These orders are priced at UK Retail Price, as quoted in the catalogue with some exceptions (see terms and conditions listed below or on inside cover of printed version of catalogue).

When placing a ‘special order’ you may be required to sign an order form, with its own unique reference number, that will list all the items you are purchasing using the catalogue.

If you are an account customer you will be required to sign an order form and will be invoiced on receipt of the goods. If the value of the goods ordered is greater than the credit limit on your account you may be required to pay a deposit. You will be advised when you place your order.

Retail customers resident in Gibraltar are required to pay a 50% deposit on signing the order form and the balance on receipt of the goods.

Orders received using the Customer Order Form from retail customers not resident in Gibraltar must be paid for in full in advance. Payment for the goods ordered signifies that terms and conditions of service have been read, understood and accepted. Once payment has been received and your order is confirmed you will be given an order reference number.

Signing the order form or paying for the goods in full in advance means that you accept terms and conditions set out below:

  • If you are required to sign an order form please check it thoroughly as no returns or refunds are accepted.
  • If you are paying for your order in advance make sure that you have checked your order thoroughly before sending it to us. Once payment has been received no returns or refunds are accepted.
  • The prices of any orders received using codes from our online mail order catalogue www.officerange.com will be confirmed using the contact details supplied on the customer order form. In general prices are as quoted, however some goods carry a 25% surcharge.
  • In the printed version of the catalogue Red and Green codes are supplied at prices quoted; Black and Blue codes carry a 25% surcharge.
  • Minimum order quantities specified apply.
  • Orders are normally placed on Wednesdays of each week and ‘subject to availability' in the UK will take 7-10 working days.
  • Business Machines and Electronic goods are not supplied using this service.
  • Prices quoted are subject to change without notice.
  • Out of stock items in the UK will have a delivery date advised.

Once again, it is impossible and impractical to stock all printer and computer consumables. To supplement the stock that we hold locally we offer a ‘special order’ service for these products.

If you have a specific requirement for a cartridge, toner, ribbon, data tapes, cds, dvds and so on please contact us and we will quote you prices before confirming the order. Payment in advance or alternately signing an order form is confirmation that you accept conditions of sale.

The Company places its orders to its suppliers for these products once a week on Fridays normally and ‘subject to availability’ this service usually takes 7-10 working days.

Remember, please check the confirmation of your order thoroughly before as no returns or refunds are accepted, once order form is signed or payment has been received.


The Company has an extensive network of suppliers and manufacturers with whom it deals and whilst delivery times from these can vary depending on when we are placing orders, we sometimes can help you source products or do bulk one off deals for you.

This service is mainly catalogue based using the OFFICE FURNITURE COLLECTION, OFFICE FURNITURE DESIGN & INTERIORS CATALOGUES and the large Furniture Section in the OFFICE PRODUCTS CATALOGUE. It is available in Gibraltar only for the time being.

The Company has been developing a good reputation for providing this service. We offer a complete package that includes telephone advice, on site visits to discuss customer requirements, measure up and answer queries; free written quotation is then provided if required, order confirmation using our ‘special order’ forms, free delivery of furniture and on site assembly to customer’s requirements and follow up visits to sort out any problems.

Delivery of furniture orders can take up to 4 weeks and if items have to be specially made up it will take longer. No refunds or returns are accepted on furniture and a 50% deposit is usually required to confirm the order.

Businesses based in Gibraltar interested in opening an account can contact us to request a Credit Account Application Form. Terms and conditions that apply are outlined in detail on this form. Once the form is completed and returned the process of opening an account is straightforward.

When your account has been opened, our Customer Services Representative will arrange a visit to see the person responsible for purchasing stationery. The purpose of this meeting is to leave a set of catalogues, explain how to use these, how the Company works, its policies and structures, and generally answer any questions or queries that you may have.


Payment terms are 30 days from the end of the month. Account customers qualify for discounts on the basis of loyalty and level of spend. To be allocated a discount you will normally need to have established a level of monthly spend with us over a minimum period of 3 months from the date of opening your account.

All account customers can take advantage of the 5% early payment discount, which can be deducted on payment, on condition that payment terms and conditions are met.
